Under New Ownership

Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to the Dry Creek property?

Originally established in 2007, Truett Hurst’s beloved property by the creek was sold out from under the family in early 2024 by the board members during its time as a publicly traded company. Partnering with Ken Wilson, Phil Hurst managed to buy back the business, which included all of the wine, kept our amazing winemaker, Ross Reedy, and moved to a new location: 428 Hudson Street, a beautiful Tasting Barn, just a step away from Downtown Healdsburg.

Where are you currently located?

We are located at 428 Hudson Street at our new Tasting Barn, just a step away from Downtown Healdsburg.

Are you one of the Wilson Artisan Wineries?

No, we are not a Wilson artisan winery. However, with Ken’s partnership, our members enjoy access and complimentary tastings at all Wilson Artisan winery properties and WAW members enjoy complimentary tastings at Truett Hurst

Are you open to the public?

We are open daily 11 am to 5 pm with our last tasting at 4 pm. Walkins are welcome but reservations are preferred. Reservations can be made from the Visit page of our website. For reservations of 8 or more, a large party fee may be applied to reserve your booking.

Am I allowed to bring outside food or drink?

Yes, outside food is allowed at the Tasting Barn, with minimum wine purchase, for groups of 6 or less. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed due to license & permits.

What is your cancellation policy?

Where are the goats?

The goats grew up on the Dry Creek property and we did not feel right removing them from their home with the transition. They remain at the Dry Creek property where they are lovingly cared for by the property’s new owner.

Are children allowed?

Well behaved children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please note, we do not have a children’s play area or entertainment for children. Children are NOT allowed at ticketed events.
