Tory Crowder is a real people person, and it shows in her commitment and passion for the Truett Hurst staff, founders, and customers.
Tory is a proud Sonoma County native. Her professional background is in human resources and marketing. Tory owned her own event planning business, and immediately prior to joining Truett Hurst, she worked for a local manufacturing company that made grape processing equipment, starting as the Administration Director and then promoted to Marketing and Sales. This experience sparked her interest in working in the wine business.
I feel so fortunate to work at the most beautiful property in the Dry Creek Valley, with wonderful people, sharing great wine and hosting the most amazing customers. My heart is full when I know our employees and guests are happy and thriving!
Today, Tory feels blessed that she has found a position at Truett Hurst that is the perfect balance of her passions for people and for wine. She loves learning all about the winemaking process, including the science that stands behind it, while leading her team to create enriching guest experiences that celebrate the connections between great wine and good times.
Tory is married and has a beautiful little daughter named Grace, and a fur baby (dog!) named Nala. She loves to bring Grace to the winery, to explore the farm and feed the animals. Tory is also actively engaged in a leadership initiative to inspire women to use their voice and share their stories of overcoming adversity to change the world, and themselves.
